See you in Anaheim!

Good Afternoon, Research and Theory Division Members!

As you get ready for the AECT Convention, we hope you will keep some events in mind for your schedule:

Research and Theory Featured Sessions and Sessions-at-a-Glance
Attached, as printer-friendly .pdfs, you will find a list of Featured Sessions hosted by the Research and Theory Division and also a list of all Research and Theory Division Sessions-at-a-Glance.

Welcome Reception and Research and Theory Division Dinner
In particular, we would love to see you at the Welcome Reception Wednesday Evening (6-8 p.m.) Lobby Level: Pool-Side, Ground Floor. We will have a drawing for some Research and Theory Division items! Then, join us for dinner afterwards! We will meet at Joe's Crab Shack (within walking distance of hotel) immediately following the reception at around 8 p.m. If you plan to attend dinner, either sign up at the RTD table at the reception or email Zeni Colorado at jcolorad@emporia.edu

Division Meeting
Also, remember to attend the Research and Theory Division Membership meeting on Thursday, from 2:15-3:15 p.m. in the Garden 4 room on the first floor of the North Tower.

Research and Theory Division Apparel
If you are interested in purchasing apparel or items with the Research and Theory logos, please go to http://www.zazzle.com/aect_rtd . Proceeds go back to the division. RTD board members will be modeling items at the Welcome Reception. A special thank you goes to our talented RTD Communications Officer E-Ling Hsiao for designing our new logo(s) and the best-looking Featured Sessions and Sessions-at-Glance flyers that you will find at the convention.

See you in Anaheim!
This promises to be one of our best AECT conventions, due to the tireless work of AECT leadership and convention planners. If you get an opportunity to thank our very own Research and Theory Division convention planner (and division president-elect) Zeni Colorado, be sure to do so. Better yet, buy her a Starbucks coffee in the Hyatt Regency lobby!

On behalf of the Research and Theory Division Board, I look forward to seeing you in Anaheim.

Marc Childress
Research and Theory Division Representative to the AECT Board of Directors
AECT Executive Committee Member
